We have achieved impressive results before both national and international, institutional and ad hoc arbitral tribunals in more than 160 cases, including the successful representation of international concession companies in more than 40 cases.

We have successfully conducted a number of mediations and settlements, some of which actively contributed to the resumption, execution and completion of major infrastructure projects in Greece.

We have successfully represented a leading mining company before the Council of State in more than 15 cases related to the largest gold investment in Greece.

We are legal advisors and representatives of the contractors of the Thessaloniki Metro (main project and extensions), offering high-end services in terms of contract management as well as during all preparations and support of contractual correspondence and claims, from submission to representation before the competent arbitral tribunals and ordinary courts. We have actively participated and represented the contractor in the dispute resolution that ended up in settlement in 2017, allowing the resumption and execution of the main project of the Thessaloniki Metro.

We provided full legal support (contract management, contractual correspondence, negotiations and representation in ordinary courts and arbitral tribunals) to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on issues regarding the execution and dispute settlement deriving from FIDIC construction and services contracts for the facilities and management of the Stavros Niarchos Park.

We provide legal support to the Greek State, inter alia by drafting tender documents in procurement procedures concerning works and services concession contracts, including the drafting of competitive dialogue documentation.

We successfully represented the “Corinth – Tripoli – Kalamata and Lefktro – Sparta section” concession company in the arbitration proceedings, obtaining the award of significant compensations for our client and leading to the project’s resumption in 2015 as a result of our proposed dispute resolution.

Our managing partner, Dr Eleni Trova, acts as an arbitrator for the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Most recently, she was appointed by the ICC as arbitrator for the resolution of disputes deriving from a construction contract for a major motorway in Romania. She also acts as an arbitrator in domestic arbitration tribunals, the latest example being an arbitration for the resolution of disputes deriving from a construction contract regarding the building of a large facility intended to house the headquarters of a large group of companies.

We represented a foreign construction company before the Hellenic Competition Commission for the case of bid-rigging in public tenders for infrastructure projects (construction cartel), obtaining the acquittal of our client on all of the charges.

We represented a private electric power company before the General Court of the European Union regarding the case of the Public Power Corporation’s dominant position in the lignite and electric power market that led to the disinvestment procedure of the lignite–fired generation units of PPC S.A..

We are legal counsels to consortia and joint ventures with international strategic interests and highly complex legal needs due to the implementation of multiple regulations from diverse legal frameworks and the EU legislation, and we are actively involved in a wide range of major projects in the Balkans, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, mainly associated with construction (pipelines etc.) and energy (electric power etc.).
